Crossing the pond to the UK

The hubby was presented with an opportunity to work out of the London office so I decided to tag along and return to my "other home" - the UK for a week and a bit. While the hubby worked for a week out of central London, Adrian and I spent a good 11 days with my mum's side of the family. It was a FANTASTIC trip just re-connecting with everyone and for little Adrian to acquaint himself with his many relatives -- especially his great grandmother!

He was also spoiled rotten with lots of red envelopes! Thanks everyone! It's too bad that by the time the shy little munchkin was comfortable with EVERYONE, it was time to journey back home! All in all, I'm just glad that everyone got to meet my silly little monkey and parted ways with fond memories of our short, but entertaining stay.

I also need to thank the little munchkin for making the 10 hour flight there and back a very pleasant one! For most parents, travelling with a child is a nightmare in itself, but our 19 month old behaved so well, we should seriously consider rewarding him with another trip before he turns 2 and before we have to purchase a seat for him! (Hint Hint! Honey!) :)

While we were frantically packing our stuff (and running late) on the morning off our flight, we couldn't resist but to pause for a few minutes to take pics of our little munchkin replicating us by packing his "Must Haves" for our trip! He literally packed the entire suitcase full of his favorites toys thinking that he'll be taking it somewhere. Ultimately, we didn't have any room to pack a single item that my little darling carefully selected and placed in his suitcase! This moment was so precious to us and will forever be etched in my mind! :)

Precious memories of our trip can be found under (Part I) and (Part II). Thanks everyone for making my trip home such a sweet and memorable one! :)
