Our little driver

Whenever the little munchkin climbs inside the "Baby mobile", his first inkling is to get into the driver's seat! He even knows to mimic us by steering the wheel and press the radio buttons! Thank god, we won't be handing him our car keys for another good 20 years! Ha! :)

Tylor's Birthday Party

Our little fish, had a fantastic time splish splashing at Tylor's pool party! In fact, the little guy had so much fun that he didn't want to get out. Having recently returned from our trip to Maui, Adrian is a lot more comfortable being in the water and even started to learn to kick in the water. He also picked up a new skill -- jumping into the pool! I'll post a video clip of his many attempts shortly.

Numbers & Colours

Believe it or not, our little munchkin who is yet to turn 2 knows how to count from "1 to 10" and when you present the number in front of him, he can actually read the number!!! On top of that, he also knows his shapes and colours! Although we may like to take credit for such accomplishment, we have to give some recognition to the cartoon show, "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse." We know there are some people out there who don't recommend exposing TV to kids under two, but we found this show to be educational, light and enjoyable for our munchkin. Adrian has been a HUGE Mickey Mouse fan for many months now. In fact, the theme for his 1st Birthday was...yup, Mickey Mouse! :)

Adrian's New Crocs

Kids are known to quickly outgrow their clothes and shoes, but Adrian somehow broke his brand new Crocs in less than two months!!!

I never thought I would be a fan of Crocs, but they seem to be really comfortable for the little guy. More importantly, it doesn't leave behind any marks/imprints from other shoes (which I won't name here). Plus, it does a great job masking or provide better ventilation so his feet doesn't smell so cheesy in the summer! :)

Ed's Father's Day Gift

I came up with the PERFECT father's day gift for Ed this year! What better gift to get someone who has everything than a vacuum cleaner?!?! -- more specifically a Dyson Animal Upright vacuum!!! ;-)

We tested the original model at Best Buy a few weeks back and judging by the expression on Adrian's face, it looks like it received his approval! I'm not quite sure why Ed, on the other hand, wasn't at all pleased with our thoughtful gift! ;-)

This year's Father's day was jointly celebrated with Ethan's 3rd birthday! The boys had fun licking the icing off the cake and as always get it all over their face and clothes!

Foot!

I LOVE Adrian's feet! Although they're quite massive for someone his age, I love squeezing them. I wish my feet were soft and silky like his again! :)

Adrian's Digging the Rides @ Toys R Us

Boys and their toys!!! We were checking out bikes for the little munchkin at Toys R Us when Adrian decided to hop into one of these cars. He then proceeded to spend a little time in each of the cars on display! I must admit, these would make awesome rides, but after several seconds we came back to our senses that we're no celebrity or have funds like the rich and famous, so no, we won't be bringing home one of these rides anytime!

For the record, every time we do head into Toys R Us and venture to the back of the store, the little munchkin always says "Che", which means cars in Cantonese and tries to climb inside each car!!! :)

Our Anniversary Trip To Maui

Ever since Adrian was a little baby, Ed and I have openly discussed our desire of taking the little munchkin to somewhere sunny where he can play in the beach and build sandcastles. So we decided to make this a reality while Adrian is still under 2 and qualifies to sit on our lap to avoid having to pay an extra airfare. Not only did Adrian get to splash around in the beach, but we also got to celebrate our 4th anniversary on a beautiful island! It's going to be rather challenging for Ed to top this for our 5th anniversary (HINT HINT!!!)

Having visited O'ahu twice, it was a nice change to visit another one of the beautiful Hawaiian islands. The beaches were beautiful and the sunset was just so gorgeous to watch especially right off the beach! We definitely had a magical time! To top that off, seeing the little munchkin's face smile as he had fun splashing around in beach truly made this trip one of the best ever! I can't wait to take Adrian on many trips like this...
