With each passing month, my little baby is growing older and moving further & further away from being the little infant that used to fit comfortably in my arms into a very independent, very active and tall little toddler! Not only does he want to feed himself and do almost everything himself, he's also developed a very impressive vocabulary. He constantly surprises us with new words that he either picked up from his cousins, TV or from others around him. Just the other day, we heard him say, "see ya!" Additionally, he's added "cheers", "super cheers", "telescope" (all from watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse), "dung" (light), "shui" (book) and "Park" (due to his many trips to the local Parks) into his vocabulary and various others that I can't recall at this time.
When it comes to feeding time, he's eager to feed himself. His hand/mouth coordination has drastically improved and he is able to actually feed himself with his utensils instead of watching the food roll off the spoon or fork. There are times he would bypass the utensils and use his fingers instead, but overall, we've noticed a huge improvement.
Adrian is still very fond of books and is now getting into scribbling. He knows how to communicate when he wants to draw and we gladly provide the colouring pencil and pad for him to draw!
Lastly, much to my delight, my little munchkin has recently learned to kiss me upon request! Boy does this make this mama one super duper happy Mum! :)
