A Google Party
Ed's VP threw a party at his beautiful house and invited his team and their guests. Not only were there valet parking, a van that transported guests from the bottom of the hill up to their gorgeous house, there were excellent food served complete with servers and even an ice cream station! For the children, there was a jump house, ice sculpture and a professional balloon artist, which was a major hit. Adrian's awesome parrot didn't survive the evening, but nevertheless it was a nice evening for us to mingle with other Googlers and their families.

A Play Date at the Children's Discovery Museum
We arranged a play date with Nicole's nephew, Connor and Adrian to meet up at the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. As members, we try to come often so that Adrian can interact with other kids and explore the different activities available. Unlike previous trips, Adrian spent a good significant amount of time in the water area and had a blast!

Thanks for a great time, Nicole & Connor! :)

All In A Days Work
This is not a typical weekend for the Tam family. However, on a lazy Saturday after checking out the "Thomas the Tank Engine" event at Toys R Us, Adrian decided to have a duel with his daddy. As you can imagine, there could only be one winner and we all know who would ever claim the champion title! :)

Next up, we went to the mall and we found this silly goofy kid hiding behind some jeans.

Sophia's 2nd B-day
Little Sophia celebrated her special 2nd birthday at The Little Gym in Mountain View. What better way to celebrate one's birthday than to jump, tumble and bounce along with all of your friends? I know Adrian had a fantastic time. Happy Birthday, Sophia! :)

Easter Egg Hunt # 3
Easter Egg hunt # 3 in Campbell. This was rather uneventful especially compared to the awesome time we had in Los Gatos. We arrived just in time, but couldn't find parking so Ed dropped Adrian and I off in the parking lot. After lifting Adrian out of the car, my camera dropped onto the hard cement floor and made a dent! A permanent one on a several months new camera! Boo! Finding a spot on the green wasn't too difficult. What was most challenging was locating the eggs! There weren't nearly as many eggs on the grass for all of the anticpating kids! The eggs were literally all snatched up 30 seconds after the event had started! Adrian successfully scored 3 eggs! And that was it! Although, we waited in line for the jump house, mid-way through while the lines were still long, they started to deflate them and announced that they were packing up and closing down the jump house! This was definitely the least fun out of the 3 Easter Egg events this year for both Adrian and I! :( I'm still bummed by the damage to my camera! :(

Adrian at Vieira Park
If Adrian isn't at home with us or at Grandma daycare then you can pretty much find him at a local park. The expressions on his face are well worth the time and effort it takes to shuttle him around even during our most coveted days of the week - the weekends! Here he is having a ball (and being goofy) at Vieira park in San Jose.

Google's Spring Festival
Funny how Adrian went from picking zero eggs in 2009 to so many that I've lost count of them in 2010. Adrian's second East Egg hunt this year was hosted by Google. Their events are always well planned and nicely put together and this one was no exception. This event naturally included an Easter Egg hunt with both plastic and boiled eggs scattered on the grassy lawn. Our little munchkin preferred the plastic over the real eggs! There was an animal petting area, a tunnel thing for kids to crawl around in, an area for cookie decorating, help yourself candy station and various snack areas scattered around the campus. Lastly, what kiddie event would be complete without jump houses? There were not one, but two jump houses for all of the awaiting kids. The animal petting area and the jump houses were the more popular attraction and needless to say, the lines were fairly long. Fortunately, Adrian obediently AND patiently waited in line until it was his turn! Great job, munchkin! :)

Easter Egg Hunting in Los Gatos
Last year's Easter Egg hunt turned out to be a major disappointment! Not only did we have trouble finding parking, but we were a few minutes late and by the time we had arrived onto the field, the event was over! BOO!!! I was so bummed that Adrian wasn't able to pick up a single egg for his first Easter! Read more about last year's mishap here. This year, we weren't going to have any of that! We were recommended by a friend to go to an Easter Egg hunt in Los Gatos. Although the event didn't start until 10AM, Ed and I made sure to pack up the little munchkin and get there 45 minutes early! We didn't want a repeat of last year and we wanted to ensure that we get there early enough to find parking. That decision paid off nicely. Not only did we find a great parking spot close to the event, we got to enjoy some of the activities available before the lines grew several blocks long. Adrian got to pet some animals - the first time in which he truly felt comfortable chasing after the animals and petting them and particpated in many other activities catered for kids! The weather was amazing and all in all, it turned out to be a wonderful day for our little family!

Our Lil House Cleaner
Having observed his parents clean up after him during all 20 months of his life, our little munchkin decided to lend us a hand and help wipe down the house! :) See how meticulous the little guy can be cleaning only the circles on the rug and cleaning the inside and outside of his daddy's slippers! :) This is one precious video to keep for the many years to come! Next up, it's time to teach him to mop the floor and/or wash the dishes!!! :)

Adrian's New Bed
Adrian has been a regular fixture in our bed since he was 4 months young. While I (secretly) enjoyed having him with us and experienced many special moments such as his early babbling (while in bed) to his more coherent words. We were also fortunate enough to be woken up by sweet kisses from the little guy (see my best wake up call blog here) All of which cancels all of the kicks/elbows that we've endured to the head, face and body etc. over the past months.
Having experienced success (or extreme luck) with weaning Adrian off the bottle (a week) and off the pacifier (zero days), we decided to go for the turkey (a term bowlers use when they score 3 strikes) and moved Adrian into his own little bed (while crossing our fingers and praying for success)!
A week later, here he is in his little bed. It worked well until 2:41AM when he woke up and cried for us to fetch him and return him back to his rightful spot - dead smack in the middle of Mummy and Daddy! Oh well, we can't always be so lucky. We'll try again soon!

How To Eat a Breakfast Burrito...
Adrian's 3-step process to eating a Mickey D's Breakfast Burrito:
Step 1. Have a good grip on the burrito and make sure that the wrapper is out of the way!
Step 2. Take a HUGE bite!
Step 3. Savour the taste and see how much of the burrito is left to repeat the steps! :)
