A Google Party

Ed's VP threw a party at his beautiful house and invited his team and their guests. Not only were there valet parking, a van that transported guests from the bottom of the hill up to their gorgeous house, there were excellent food served complete with servers and even an ice cream station! For the children, there was a jump house, ice sculpture and a professional balloon artist, which was a major hit. Adrian's awesome parrot didn't survive the evening, but nevertheless it was a nice evening for us to mingle with other Googlers and their families.

A Play Date at the Children's Discovery Museum

We arranged a play date with Nicole's nephew, Connor and Adrian to meet up at the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. As members, we try to come often so that Adrian can interact with other kids and explore the different activities available. Unlike previous trips, Adrian spent a good significant amount of time in the water area and had a blast!

Thanks for a great time, Nicole & Connor! :)

Vegas Getaway

Ed and I barely have time for each other let alone go on a date since we welcomed Adrian into our lives. However, when Palazzo came knocking and offered us a complimentary stay at their hotel, we knew we should kindly accept their offer. While we (I) missed the munchkin during the short 3 day, 2 night stay, it was wonderful spending quality time together. Vegas had changed significantly since our last visit a good few years ago. We happily spent our time visiting the new hotels, donated and won some money, visited the Bellagio Buffet - a MUST and our tradition each and every time we're in town. We had fine dining at Alize at the Palms hotel and capped it off with an amazing acrobatic show called Le Reve. I'm not sure if I can survive another overnight trip without the munchkin, but I have to admit that I thoroughly enjoyed spending some quality time with my hubby! :)

Will Dig for Horseneck Clams (Part II)

Some of you may recall our first attempt at horseneck claming back in March of '09 (read link here for a recap). This year, we may a very spontaneous decision to venture out and bring home some of these for supper. We went back to our usual spot very early in the AM and came home with 20 (the maximum number allowed between the two of us) of these clams!

All In A Days Work

This is not a typical weekend for the Tam family. However, on a lazy Saturday after checking out the "Thomas the Tank Engine" event at Toys R Us, Adrian decided to have a duel with his daddy. As you can imagine, there could only be one winner and we all know who would ever claim the champion title! :)

Next up, we went to the mall and we found this silly goofy kid hiding behind some jeans.
He then went on to try on some shades and a hat since the weather is starting to warm up. I guess one must stay cool and trendy! :)

Ambidextrous Adrian

Our local Toys R Us held a "Thomas the Tank Engine" event, so we decided to drop by. Everything went by the theme -- Thomas hats, colouring paper and crayons for all of the kids. We managed to find a corner for the munchkin to draw and color. Our seemingly ambidextrous little guy figured it'll be faster to colour with two hands as opposed to one! :)

Sophia's 2nd B-day

Little Sophia celebrated her special 2nd birthday at The Little Gym in Mountain View. What better way to celebrate one's birthday than to jump, tumble and bounce along with all of your friends? I know Adrian had a fantastic time. Happy Birthday, Sophia! :)
